Every warrior begins their journey here. The Unaffiliated are the proving ground for all new blood—those yet to pledge to a war band, still learning the rhythm of battle and the ways of the field, it is also the home of those who no longer fight with a war band..

As an Unaffiliated fighter, you’ll train, fight, and tour alongside the many war bands of Stormglow, joining their ranks in battle to balance numbers and experience the unique styles, tactics, and traditions each has to offer. This roaming life gives every newcomer the chance to test their mettle, build their skills, and discover where their loyalty might one day lie.

For some, it is the first chapter in a long saga. For others, it is a temporary refuge—a place to fight without the weight of a banner, until the call of a permanent home is heard.

The Unaffiliated hold no land, serve no god, and owe allegiance only to the fight before them. In their ranks, merit is forged in the crucible of battle, and every clash is a lesson. When the day comes that you leave, it will not be because you were cast aside—but because you have chosen where your banner will finally fly.
