What is Stormglow Battlegame?

Stormglow Battlegame is a live action roleplay and battle game based in the semi-fantasy world, Ryftlund. Based in a pre-1600 fantasy era, our players dress in medieval/fantasy attire and participate in mock battles using various foam weaponry.

Players are encouraged to create individual and unique characters with which to interact with other players. A player can choose to be combatant or non-combatant within the world setting, including warriors, healers, rangers, magic users, archers and so much more.

Players can choose their race as well, from humans to elves, dwarves to ogres. And if you want to be a halfling, that’s alright too!

Each player then joins a warband, a collection of like-minded individuals who embody similar traits and desires to your character. When at battle nights and events, your warband is your clan, like houses in Harry Potter or AFL teams. They will fight with you, for you and protect you from harm.

However don’t be concerned, it’s all make-believe!

We encourage our members to be mindful of others and follow our code of conduct but most of all we want our players to have fun. Remember, we’re here to kill our friends, not hurt them!
